E-Mail verification on social networks

Almost all social networks have mechanisms to validate new registers via E-Mail, although Instagram is not one of them.
You can have your e-mail associated to an account used by someone else by mistake or maliciously.
In this case it was a malicious usage of the e-mail, detected after a couple of hours. But many times can pass without notice, and people that have your contact and associated on Instagram will be pop-up with this new account. This can be dangerous and problematic for who think is really your account, unfortunately instagram will not care if the e-mail has been validated or not, the account will be ready to be used.
In this cases you should always remove your email from instagram help center or from the bottom of the received e-mail.
